Directions to The Newport Harborside Inn

From the South - NY, NJ, CT
95N to Exit 3-138 East to Route 1 North, follow signs to Jamestown and Newport Bridges, go over both bridges. Take first exit off Newport Bridge, make a right off exit ramp, at second light make a right. Take America's Cup Ave to end, make a right on Thames St. at Red Parrot Restaurant. Make second right, Harborside Inn is 50 feet down on the left.

From the North - Boston
24S to 114S, follow 114S straight to downtown Newport, at Washington Square make a left on Thames St. (Banana Republic).  Bear right after the Brick Market Place, make a left on America's Cup Ave. Follow to Red Parrot Restaurant, take a right onto Thames St., take second right, Harborside Inn is 50 feet down on the left.

  From the T.F. Green Airport (Providence)

  Head out of the Airport heading Northeast and take the US- 1 ramp toward Post Rd/Exit. Turn

  left onto Post Rd/US-1. Take the ramp toward I-95 and merge onto I-95 S towards New    

  York. Keep left to take RI-4 S via Exit 9 toward North Kingston (left exit). Continue on RI-4 for

  about 10 miles. Turn slight right at the end of US-4 and merge onto US-1S /Tower Hill Rd

  (.7m). Take right exit onto RI- 138E toward Jamestown/ Newport/ Bridges. Continue over two

  bridges, with a toll before the second bridge. When descending off of the second bridge stay  

  in right lane and take the RI-238S ramp towards Scenic Newport. At the end of ramp turn right

  onto JT Connell Hwy. At the second set of lights turn right onto America's Cup Ave. Stay in

  the right lane through multiple sets of lights until you reach Thames Street (the road begins to

  bend to the left at the lights and the Red Parrot Restaurant will be on the corner). Take a right

  onto Thames St. Christies Landing is the second entryway on the right after you turn onto

  Thames St. The Harborside Inn is on the left once you turn down Christies Landing.

  From the Kingston Train Station

  Head out of the train station heading east toward Kinston Rd/ RI 138.  Turn right onto

  Kingston Rd/ RI 138 and continue to fallow RI-138. (5.6m)  At the lights at the intersection

  with US-1 take a left onto US-1/ Tower Hill Rd./ RI-138.(2.3m)  Take a right onto RI-138E   

  towards Jamestown/ Newport/ Bridges (9m) ). Continue over two bridges, with a toll before the

  second bridge. When descending off of the second bridge stay in right lane and take the RI-

  238S ramp towards Scenic Newport. At the end of ramp turn right onto JT Connell Hwy. At

  the second set of lights turn right onto America's Cup Ave. Stay in the right lane through

  multiple sets of lights until you reach Thames Street (the road begins to bend to the left at the

  lights and the Red Parrot Restaurant will be on the corner). Take a right onto Thames St.

  Christies Landing is the second entryway on the right after you turn onto Thames St. The

  Harborside Inn is on the left once you turn down Christies Landing.

  Cab Service:  Cabs are available for pick/ drop off at both the Kingston Train Station and T.F.

  Green Airport (PVD).  Reservations are required for all out of town pickups.  Cab fares range

  around $70 each way to and from Kingston Train Station, and around $80 to and from T.F.

  transportation to and from both Kingston Train Station and T. F. Green Airport for up to 3pp. 

  Fare is $95 plus 20% Gratuity, 8% fuel cost and a $2 toll for both locations.

   Shuttle Service: Shuttle service is available to and from T. F. Green Airport through Cozy

  Cab (401) 846-2500.  Shuttle fare is $25 per person and reservations are required.
